Between the Reels is a blog dedicated to the films that inspire creativity and cultivate discussion. Just as you would read between the lines to get at a writer's true message, we will look a little closer to get at the message of some great films. These are films that, in my opinion, express key elements of human nature and emotion. Films that push our boundaries, challenge what we think we know, and teach us more about the human condition.
We can learn so much from these cinematic creations. The written word, the painted picture, the composed song - these are all combined together in the full sensory and emotional experience of film. I want to dive into these films as a means for exploring ideas and reminding ourselves of what is important.
Currently, I am writing reviews and discussion points for the first couple films.
